Im on my second pair. I walk without pain now, inferior walking shoes caused shin splints and ankle pain but now I can walk all day without discomfort.

I am very pleased with these shoes. The arch support is basic, nothing outstanding, but thats the way most shoes are unless theyre podiatrist designed.
